Brad Schroeder, President
Brad has served on the board since 2005. He is an attorney at Hartung & Schroeder, LLP.

Elizabeth Coonan, Vice President and Program Chair
Beth has served on the board since 2006. She is an Employment Law Attorney at Brown Winick Graves Gross Baskerville & Schoenebaum PLC.

Brian Newton, Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair
Brian Newton joined the board in 2007. He is a CPA with McGowen, Hurts, Clark
& Smith, P.C.

Andrea Vitzthum, Secretary
Andrea joined the board in 2007. She is an Assistant County Attorney in the Polk County Attorney’s Office.

Michelle (Casper) Barker, Past President
Michelle has served on the board since 2004. She is Assistant Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at American Enterprise Group.

Dr. Kerry L Anderson
Dr. Kerry L Anderson joined the board in 2008. She is a Therapist in the counseling center at Drake University and maintains her own private practice.

Bruce Buchanan
Bruce Buchanan joined the board in 2009. He is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Wadle and Associates PC, as well as a state wide consultant and trainer.

DiAnna Brincks
Di joined the board in 2006. She is Vice President of Sales for Allied Insurance.

Sarah Peters Buckley, Marketing Committee Co-Chair
Sarah joined the board in 2006. She is the Director of Corporate Communications for GuideOne Insurance.

Rhonda Clark, Marketing Committee Co-Chair
Rhonda joined the board in 2006. She is the Media Relations Officer at Principal
Financial Group.

Lisa Davis-Cook
Lisa joined the board in 2005. She is the Director of Public Affairs/Justice for the Iowa Association for Justice.

Kelley Pennington
Kelley Pennington has been on the board since 2007. She is Bureau Chief, Adult Services in the Division of Mental Health and Disability Services State of Iowa Department of Human Services.

Barbara Perkins, Events Committee Chair
Barbara Perkins joined the board in 2007. She is a school counselor at Capital View Elementary in Des Moines.

Cyndi Pederson
Cindy Pederson joined the Board in 2009. She is the Director for the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs.

Nichola K Schissel (Nicky), Fund Development Committee Chair
Nichola K Schissel joined the board in 2008. She is the Vice President at Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Communications and Administration.

Tina Smith Fritz, CTP
Tina joined the board in 2009. Tina recently joined Bankers Trust Company as the Vice President, Treasury Sales Manager, and is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals and the Iowa Treasury Management Association

Douglas Timboe, MD
Douglas Timboe MD joined the board in 2009. He is a Family Medicine Physician at Iowa Health / West Des Moines Family Physicians.

David Vaudt
David Vaudt joined the board in 2009. He is beginning his 7th year as Auditor of State for the State of Iowa.
